Dr. Natalia Stefanova
Medical Oncology Specialist
Dr. Natalia Stefanova graduated with honors in Medicine from the Medical University of Varna. She later obtained specialties in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
She began her professional career as a medical oncologist at the Clinic of Medical Oncology at University Hospital “St. Marina” – Varna, where she also served as an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases at the Medical University of Varna.
Since 2017, she has continued her clinical and academic work at University Hospital “Dr. Georgi Stranski” – Pleven, Department of Medical Oncology, while also teaching at the Medical University of Pleven.
Since 2022, he has been a specialist - oncologist in the "Medical Oncology" team at the University Hospital "St. Marina" - Pleven. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of "Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine" and the Department of "Oncology" at the Medical University - Pleven.
Dr. Stefanova is a lecturer and moderator at national oncology forums and actively participates in European and international oncology congresses. She has completed training and qualification programs at leading European oncology centers.
She has experience as a principal investigator and sub-investigator in international and multicenter clinical trials.
She is a member of:

- Bulgarian Scientific Society of Immuno-Oncology (BSIO)

Her clinical interests include:
- cancer immunology and immunotherapy
- novel prognostic and predictive biomarkers in oncology
- multiple primary malignancies and rare tumors
- management of treatment-related toxicity
- cardio-oncology
