Dr. Hristo Gochev is a resident physician in Medical Oncology at UMHAT “Sveta Marina” – Pleven since 2022.

He graduated in Medicine from the Medical University of Pleven in 2021. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Credit from the University of Economics – Varna (2013), and completed his secondary education at DFSG “Intellect” – Pleven, specializing in Banking.

His professional experience includes work in departments of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Medical Oncology, as well as Pulmonology and Phthisiology at MBAL “Heart and Brain” – Pleven in the period 2019–2022.

Dr. Gochev actively participates in national and international scientific forums, including the National Oncology Conference SONM-MORE (Varna), the Bulgarian National Oncology Congress (BOND), the International Meeting of the Young Oncologist Club, as well as international events such as the Early Breast Cancer Conference (Milan, 2024) and Best of SABCS (2025/2026).

His professional interests are focused on the modern комплексно лечение of oncological diseases, with a particular emphasis on breast and prostate cancer.
