The Surgery Clinic at St. Marina University Hospital in Pleven consists of three different departments - general, thoracic, and vascular surgery. The Department of General Surgery performs open, laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgical oncological reconstructive interventions in children and adults. Bariatric surgery is also within the scope of the department's surgical expertise, representing one of the most advanced minimally invasive treatments for morbid obesity and type II diabetes.
